Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Contracts Manager to support the Senior Contracts Manager and Head of Contracting and Collaboration to deliver continual improvement against clinical contracts for mental health services across Norfolk and Suffolk.

You will be part of a dynamic contracts team supporting the achievement of high quality services at a time of change within Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust and the Norfolk and Suffolk Integrated Care Systems.

As the post holder you will provide management support to the Senior Contracts Manager, the Directors of Care Groups and the Chief Finance Officer on contracts across Norfolk and Suffolk. You will support the contract discussions with health and social care and County Councils in the region and work closely with mental health commissioners on service performance matters. You will work with Care Groups to enable service redesign programmes to support service and quality improvements. You will have experience of legal contracts and reviewing schedules for performance and finance. You will be able to give legal advice and guidance and be aware of national health care policy.

To be successful in this exciting role you will have passion and energy with an inspiring style. You will have well developed influencing skills and a good understanding of the context the NHS operates in, including national policy and plans. You will have a track record of working in partnership with others, adopting a solution-focused approach to deliver challenging deadlines and complex, multiple pieces of work.

Our team is agile and works hybrid; we can be flexible on remote/office working and although this is a full-time position, we are happy to discuss working hours. Although the role is largely remote working, the post holder will be able to work from our Suffolk or Norfolk base and will be expected to work flexibly across Norfolk and Suffolk to support the Trust contracts.
