Nicholas Associates are working with a leading groundworks sub-contractor who are going from strength to strength and growing at pace, they are a sub-contractor for both blue-chip housebuilders and regional housebuilders including, Barratt Homes, Taylor Wimpey, Keepmoat, Redrow Homes.

Main duties include the following:

• 
  Managing a selection of live projects 4 - 6, while reporting to a Construction Director.

• 
  Overseeing individual site teams, which will be headed up with project managers and site managers

• 
  Responsible for the operational and financial aspect of the project

• 
  Ensure that the project is managed and executed in the proper manner.

• 
  Liaise with the construction team, quantity surveyors, clients, consultants and contractors.

• 
  Attend client meetings throughout the project lifecycle, building strong, sustainable business relationships with the client.

Experience Needed:

• 
  Experience of working as a Contracts Manager or a Senior Contracts Manager for a Groundworks sub-contractor

• 
  Proven track record in leading large teams on roads & sewers projects

• 
  Successful track record in making independent, strategic decisions.

• 
  Commercially aware with excellent people management skills

• 
  Extensive local and sector knowledge.
