A great opportunity for an experienced Group Consolidations Manager to join a listed, Global Fintech business on a 6 month contract basis. Based in London, the purpose of this role is to deliver a timely, accurate period end close.
Reporting to the Senior manager – Group Reporting, the role will involve:
- Managing multi-currency group consolidation, including review and posting of journals
- Preparing and reviewing balance sheet reconciliations
- Liaising with divisional finance teams to ensure timely and accurate submissions
- Assisting with preparation and review of Group financial reporting pack
- Ensuring all accounting is SOX compliant
- Liaising with key internal stakeholders including treasury and management reporting
- Liaising with external auditors on quarterly and year end Group financial statements
- Supporting and providing guidance to wider finance team
- Managing junior members of team when required
The candidate:
- Qualified Accountant
- Technically strong with experience of large, multi-currency group consolidation and IFRS
- Listed company experience is desirable
- Previous experience working with HFM is desirable
- Advanced IT skills
