Job status: 12 months FTC

Working hours: Monday -Friday, 8am - 5pm with 1h lunch break

What You'll be Doing Each Day:

Responsibilities:

The Strategic Communications Specialist will assist in the preparation and release of a variety of communications products for internal and external audiences in support of education and outreach efforts.

  • Develop and maintain work schedule, organizational chart, and 'placements’ documents for internal and external distribution.
  • Liaise with the Human Resources and Administration team to track on boarding and off-boarding personnel.
  • Maintain contact information and official portraits for personnel.
  • Create and/or maintain templates for organizational products.
  • Create LinkedIn posts, blog posts, or electronic newsletter blurbs. Develop and maintain templates and language for electronic releases.
  • Create the annual Prospectus report and the Global Engagement Plan.
  • Provide an advise on the development of new products, fliers or other communications documents.
  • Draft language of written products as requested, including articles and other materials for public release.
  • Maintain submission on public release processes and policies governed by the Corporate Strategic Communications (CSC)team.
  • Maintain and update global briefings used for organizational overview meetings, recruitment efforts, and similar presentations.
  • Work with Department Heads to maintain current organizational information used in such briefings.
  • Maintain and update website presence as requested by global leadership and CSC team.
  • Provide administration services to facilitate communications (attend meetings, draft meeting notes, communicate and clarify direction and feedback) in support of on and off-site meetings, events,andconferences;andprovidesupportduringtheexecutionofthese events.

The Skills You'll Need to Succeed:

  • Previous experience in Communications field/ channels.
  • Good knowledge of Social media use.
  • Experience of working in a government related organisation.
  • Microsoft Office Suite knowledge.
  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
