Our client is a leading health club and leisure operator in Essex. Their philosophy is to blend low cost membership with high-end design and service. And to deliver this unprecedented member experience. They are currently looking to recruit a Health Club Manager at their site based in Wickford.

JOB PURPOSE:

1. To be an integral part of the management team in overseeing the development of The Club.

2. To drive the financial performance of the site.

3. To be responsible for the effective and efficient day-to-day management of the site in accordance with the Company’s operational and Brand Standards.

4. To be innovative and creative in ways to increase the membership base whilst also retaining current members.

5. To plan, co-ordinate and implement planned and reactive marketing strategies to drive both new business and brand awareness.

6. To lead and develop staff, in order that a continuum of personal and professional development maximises progression opportunities in line with the Company’s equal opportunities policy.

7. Prepare accurate reports and necessary supporting commentary, ensuring achievement against all Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s).

You will be a financially astute, innovative individual that has the ability to drive and exceed targets, experience of managing a fitness facility and an outstanding customer focus. We are looking for candidates with a minimum of 1 years management experience ideally within a comparable health and fitness operation. You must have excellent people managent and engagement skills.
