We are seeking to appoint an innovative, experienced and dynamic Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist for the Stroke Service across Queens Medical Centre and City Hospital campuses within Nottingham University Hospital NHS Trust.
This exciting role requires a committed and dedicated person to lead the strategic development of Occupational Therapy within stroke services in conjunction with the existing therapy Clinical Lead . The post holder will work in close partnership with the multidisciplinary leadership team within the wider stroke specialty.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will be a registered Occupational Therapist. They will be a strong clinical leader who demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise and who is highly visible and accessible to Therapy staff throughout the stroke service. They will drive and lead service improvements and support the wider team with teaching and training. They will work closely with the Therapy Services Manager and also with the Stroke Specialty Management Team to ensure services are developed in line with the Trust vision.

We have a Chief AHP to lead us on our strategic direction, and many of the pathway leadership team have pathway AHP backgrounds to support our staff. There are also Practice Development Therapists to support career development for all.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
