Gorseinon Hospital is a small community Hospital based in the village of Gorseinon, Swansea. West ward in Gorseinon Hospital accepts patients from the acute sites in Morriston and Singleton hospitals for a period of rehabilitation prior to discharge home.

We have a permanent vacancy for a band 6 Ward Sister/Clinical Lead. We are looking for an inspirational individual who will act as a positive role model for our team and will support our Band 7 Unit Manager, to lead the team in delivering high standards of care for our patients.

West Ward is a 39 bedded ward that specialises in Elderly Care/Rehabilitation. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills. This person will need to be very organised, flexible, approachable, with excellent interpersonal and problem solving skills. This individual will be willing to take the initiative and be forward thinking with the ability to lead and develop this service.

This person will need to have a good sound medical knowledge as we only have medical cover Monday - Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm.
