BAE Systems Land UK are responsible for the design, manufacture and support of a wide range of munitions products. This requires us to model and simulate all stages of the product lifecycle from conception to disposal. We have identified an area of growth critical to the success of our newly awarded long term partnering agreement with the UK MoD. The area in question is in the field of modelling and simulating of energetic materials. This can range from aspects such as chemical ageing all the way through to ignition and growth mechanisms within the material.

The Chemical Engineer team:
You will be working as part of the Engineering Analysis Team, a group of SMEs in various specialisms, helping to develop capability in the area of Chemical Modelling. This is a burgeoning area within both the team and Land UK as a whole. You will be expected to help direct and grow the capability alongside senior team members whilst also engaging with other UK SMEs and delivering key technical programmes already agreed by our customer within the field.
