Are you passionate about Health and Safety and achieving Zero Harm? Are you looking for a career which is rewarding, at the cutting edge of project development and where you can really make a difference?
If so, join EDF as a CDM and Conventional Safety Lead, and you’ll join one of the most exciting and challenging projects within EDF, as we continue to lead the rebirth of nuclear in the UK.
The Opportunity...
At Hinkley Point C (HPC) we are building two new nuclear reactors, the first in a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK providing low carbon electricity for around six million homes.
As a CDM and Conventional Safety Lead, you will be responsible for acting on behalf of the HPC Client for ensuring that all HPC activities are conducted in a way that protects the health and safety of the workforce and the public, in line with our Zero Harm ambition.
You will apply all of your knowledge and experience across the new nuclear projects, to ensure that the obligations of the Client under Construction (Design Management) Regulations 2015 are discharged in a manner of both legal compliance and support to the Principal Contractor, Principal Designer and Contract Partners.
This is an excellent opportunity for a great communicator, who can demonstrate broad experience in construction and nuclear settings.
