Home based - travel required around the South West of England + Wales
37.5 hours per week (hours of work will be flexible and dictated by the needs of the business, therefore it is expected that the successful applicant will work those hours necessary to successfully discharge the duties of the role).
Being the face of Pure Retirement in your region, the role will allow you to identify, qualify and build solid, high-level relationships with new business prospects in order to promote and sell the companys proposition and meet stretching financial targets.
- To actively and professionally manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and lead management to prospecting, arranging appointments, preparing proposals and presentations, negotiating, closing the deal.
- To effectively meet (and exceed) targets as set by the Head of Sales.
- To ensure that all sales opportunities are fully captured and fully explored.
- To build, manage and maintain a substantial pipeline and to ensure that all pipeline activity is accurately documented and kept up-to-date in the CRM system.
- To provide timely response and exceptional levels of service to all enquiries.
- To thoroughly research and understand prospects business, competition, industry, marketing goals and objectives, overall business requirements.
- To create polished proposals, presentations, contracts and other documentation, in line with relevant Company policies and lending criteria.
- To attend meetings with prospects and existing clients as required.
- To work closely with the administration and underwriting team to ensure that each client is kept up-to-date with progress of each matter.
- To liaise with HoD and keep them informed of all prospecting activities
- To represent Pure at industry events when required and to represent the company and its products and services at all times in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
- To work closely with the marketing team to help develop and design campaigns.
- Promote the Marketing tool kit and the support how Pure can offer brokers helping to grow their equity release business.
- Conduct 1-2-1 broker appointments
- Work with the Telephone BDM to ensure all brokers get the service and support they require
- Devise and promote Pure Roadshows
- Represent Pure Retirement and all relevant exhibitions
- Work with Telephone BDMs to devise contract strategies

The role of a BDM at Pure Retirement is very varied and we are looking for the right person, they must be outgoing, comfortable with lots of traveling able to command attention in a crowded room.
They must have a keen eye for detail and experience of hitting targets in a sales environment

- Financial services experience
- Experience & knowledge of the Equity Release Market
