The Role

We are looking for an experienced Business Analyst, primarily based in our London Bridge office. Reporting into the Head of Business Analysis and working within the fast-paced Tech & Change team, this is a key role, identifying and developing solutions that meet defined business challenges and needs.

You will work across the entire project lifecycle, from scoping through to post go-live, and work with a variety of stakeholders up to CEO level.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define the most appropriate analysis approach to fit the assignment and deliver the agreed BA artefacts throughout the project lifecycle
  • Undertake business case and Discovery phase analysis. Typical tasks: High level business requirements, benefits identification, solution options, costs etc.
  • Support the vendor selection process e.g., Market analysis, RFI, RFP
  • Model As-is / To-be business and systems processes. Preferred notation is BPMN 2.0
  • Elicit, document and manage business requirements / user stories for both waterfall and agile assignments. Toolset includes Word, Excel and Azure DevOps
  • Write comprehensive acceptance criteria and work with Dev/QA teams to ensure understanding
  • Refine user stories and participate in agile ceremonies as required
  • Plan, schedule and facilitate dynamic meetings, workshops and presentations
  • Support the business in planning and executing User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
  • Provide user training and post go-live support
  • Actively participate in the TRG BA community, sharing knowledge and supporting colleagues

Required Experience:

  • Experience as a Business Analyst in a relevant sector (leisure, hospitality, retail)
  • Experience working with tech development teams to build and enhance customer-facing, front of house and back-office systems
  • Experience of quickly building trusted stakeholder relationships at all levels of the business
  • Experience of working with both waterfall and agile methodologies
  • Knowledge of a range of business analysis methods, tools and standards
  • Experience working with partner organisations and/or 3rd party suppliers
