Board Member appointment: Healthcare Improvement Scotland

Healthcare Improvement Scotland is the national improvement agency for health and care in Scotland. Our aim is to secure lasting, positive and sustainable improvements across the whole health and care system. We are uniquely placed to identify the connections and opportunities created by system wide working and collaborate with other national health boards to deliver a relentless focus on the safe delivery of effective care.

Remuneration and time commitment: You will be paid a daily rate of £173.66 (non-pensionable) for a time commitment of four days per month. Reasonable expenses incurred will be reimbursed.

Location: The meetings for the Board and its Governance Committees will normally be held either in our Glasgow or Edinburgh offices, but may on occasion be held elsewhere throughout Scotland. In recent times, meetings have been held virtually. Although, going forward, the expectation is that the work will be a blend of virtual and physical meetings, a physical presence will be required to be able to carry out the full range of Board activities.

Interviews will be held on 28 August in Healthcare Improvement Scotland’s Glasgow office at Delta House, 50 West Nile Street, Glasgow
Skills/Experience Required:
