We are looking to hire some experienced bar supervisors and managers for Escape to Freight Island in Manchester, Piccadilly for the Spring / Summer season!

As a lead in the bar operation you will be responsible for overseeing all general bar operations. The role covers a broad range of skills and requirements which are covered in the key performance indicators below.

Key Responsibilities:

Bar Operations

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the bar
• Day to day maintenance of the Bar maintenance
• Maintain 74% GP on wet
• Maintain wastage below 1%
• Run bi-yearly menu reviews and drinks development
• Maintain a high standard of bar cleanliness
• Work with key brand partners to maintain quality of serves
• Maintain a good level of prep and make sure there are no 86’s
• Check pre-orders and ensure these are being recorded correctly.

Team Recruitment and Management

• Management of bar team
• Organising and arranging staff training as needed
• Adhering to payroll budgets < 24% overall, 8-11% for bar staff
• Undertaking staff appraisals
• Ensuring 100% completion of Flow training for bar staff
• 95% pass rate on cocktail specs for bar staff
• Ensuring each team member has product knowledge for walk up service
• Writing Bar rotas and amending depending on covers.

Reporting

• Providing quality reporting
• Reporting ion weekly stock takes
• Financials reporting on closing shifts

Working Hours

Regular shifts will be available from Wednesday – Sunday on-site. Freight Island will be closed on a Monday and Tuesday.
