In Bristol we are redesigning our community mental health services to help people get the care they need, quickly and close to home. We are developing a new care model, bringing Primary and Secondary care, our Local Authority and Voluntary sector services together into new Integrated Mental Health Teams.
We are seeking Team Managers to lead our three new teams in Bristol. Each will work closely with a wide range of partners, including Experts by Experience, and inspire the team to deliver a high quality and effective service for people affected by mental illness. They will work with partners to provide trauma informed and culturally inclusive care that supports of all of BNSSG’s communities, particularly those experiencing the greatest inequalities. Team Managers will also ensure that excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team.

AWP
The postholder will lead an Integrated Mental Health Team, working closely with a wide range of partners, including Experts by Experience. They will inspire the team to deliver a high quality and effective service for people affected by mental illness – ensuring quicker access to clinical, psychological and social support, close to home.
The postholder will have strong partnership and influencing skills as they bring NHS, social care and Voluntary and Community leads together to meet the breadth of people’s needs. They will work with partners to provide trauma informed and culturally inclusive care that supports of all of BNSSG’s communities, particularly those experiencing the greatest inequalities.
The postholder will ensure excellent clinical standards are maintained within the team. Effective caseload management will be underpinned by robust and effective individual and team supervision processes. Working within the Care Programme Approach principles and framework, the postholder will demonstrate, in their day to day clinical work, an area of advanced practice (e.g. CBT, Non-medical Prescribing). The role may necessitate working extended hours.
