An opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Accountant to join a very progressive, multinational company based in London.

We have a fantastic temporary opportunity for someone to join a household name within the media industry. Marc Daniels are looking for a dynamic individual with accounts experience who’s available for an immediate start.

This is a temporary to permanent opportunity they are looking for someone who’s driven and looking to progress their career. This role offers a clear-cut progression path in a very friendly team.

Responsibilities:

• Managing income and expenditure
• Assist with answering tax enquires.
• Support the Management Accountants analyse financial information to assist profitability and growth
• Assist with the financial month end and year end close
• Assist with the planning process including 3-year long term planning, budgeting, and quarterly forecasting
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
• Oversight of vendor payments and liaison with group accounts payable function to ensure all AP payments are made on a timely basis.
• Completing new vendor set up forms/portal registrations.
• Verifying banking details
• Assist with monitoring receivables and liaising with outsourced credit control team
• Other ad-hoc responsibilities

Requirements:

• Available immediately or on one weeks’ notice
• Must have excellent proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and numeracy
• Good communication, presentation and relationship building skills and the ability to proactively work in teams
• Able to work without close supervision on business-as-usual tasks
• Must be flexible, adaptable, and willing to take on ad hoc/new tasks as required by the business
• Organized with an ability to prioritize, multitask, and meet strict deadlines.
