Pertemps are currently recruiting for Assembly Operatives to work for our client based in Lincoln who are one of the world's leading names in commercial catering equipment. You will be manufacturing a variety of products to correct quality standards, usually working independently to achieve a scheduled daily or weekly programme of work.
Hours of work will be Monday to Friday on one shift. Once on one shift you will stay on this and NOT rotate.
Shifts are 6AM to 2PM OR 2:30PM to 1AM
How much will I be paid?
Your duties will include:
Assembly of metal components
Reading and accurately following engineering drawings & instructions
Using a variety of hand tools, machinery, and equipment
Liaising with other departments such as Stores & dispatch
Working in any of the production areas
You will need to possess the following to apply:
Reasonable English and Numeracy skills
Excellent manual dexterity and the ability to use a variety of tools and equipment
Organisational and time management skills
Ability to assess and manage priorities
Understanding of production processes
Desirable Experience for this Assembly Operative role:
Assembly, repair, or maintenance of mechanical / electronic parts.
CNC machine operation
Manufacturing background
