Here’s a fantastic opportunity for you to join our highly experienced Acoustics and Air Quality team as an Apprentice Air Quality Consultant.
You will learn how to design sustainable buildings of all shapes, sizes and uses; from hospitals to homes, from data centres to offices, and so much more!
Our apprenticeship programme allows an opportunity to study for an academic qualification as well as gaining professional experience on our projects at the same time! You will be able to develop your technical skills through a variety of projects that you will take on as well as being supported in the development of your softer skills through our early careers learning and development program: ‘The Learning Curve’. We are looking to welcome an apprentice who is eager to learn and develop a career in sustainable building design.
What the role looks like
You will:
Our Manchester office will welcome you into our Air Quality team. You will be working alongside our seniors and graduates, supporting a number of projects ranging from sectors including industrial, residential, commercial, energy, health, local government and education.
We have a diverse portfolio of work, typically delivered alongside a number of our other consultancy services. Recent projects include a number of Air Quality Assessments within The Greater Manchester area and wider North West. We are currently working on small to large projects including residential developments, including Purpose Built Student Accommodation, industrial applications, and B2/B8 developments within the North West. The role will provide a variety of experience within different sectors.
We fully fund you throughout your studies, supporting you through mentoring, as well as on-the-job training through ‘The Learning Curve’.
What you will learn with us
To fulfil all the learning objectives required to gain the qualification, you will undertake a planned rotation within our other teams including Geo-Environmental and Nuclear. This allows for the opportunity to experience other divisions and learn a variety of skills and competencies broadening your knowledge.
