The Role

We are looking for a Settlements Analyst to join our Assurance Team where you will be utilising your industry expertise and Gentrack software solutions to identify and resolve discrepancies on behalf of Gentrack customers – focused on the differences between the energy purchased and sold to their customers. For identified discrepancies, you will ensure that the appropriate industry workflows are followed to recover overpaid cost to Gentrack’s customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identification and correction of data errors in the Utilities industry.
  • Liaise with development teams and project managers in order to reach a resolution on queries.
  • Drive operational performance and identify areas of improvement for both the client and Assurance application.

  • Deliver professional, timely, communications to ensure Gentrack customers are kept up to date in line with agreed timeframes.
  • Analytical thinking to decide the correct resolution required, to align energy purchased by our clients and energy sold to their customers.

Experience Required

  • Educated to degree level.
  • Ability to code in SQL is preferred.
  • Work experience in the Electricity and Gas retail industries is required.
  • Previous experience in a software environment is preferred.
  • Computer Literate with strong Excel and Word.
