Job overview
The post holder will be an administrator for The Breast Education Centre in Nottingham. They will be involved in the planning and organising of of training for multi disciplinary healthcare professionals with a particular focus on the mammography associate apprenticeship programme.
The Education Centre is one of the leading training centres in the United Kingdom. The centre was established in 1988 in recognition of its long-standing experience and expertise in breast cancer screening, diagnosis, surgery, treatment and research.
The Education Centre provides a comprehensive range of theoretical and practical courses and study days for multi disciplinary healthcare professionals involved in breast cancer screening and symptomatic breast disease diagnosis and treatment.
Main duties of the job
To provide administrative support for planning, organising and running education courses for different professionals working within breast imaging.
To work alongside other education administrators within the Nottingham International Breast Education Centre to ensure the smooth running of the services provided by the Centre.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
Planning and organising the facilities for national and international training courses including venue, room bookings, catering and hospitality.
Supporting the lecturers and speakers for these events, ensuring their presentations in multimedia format and equipment is compatible with the Education centres’.
Creating training videos and materials, flyers and newsletters to help in the marketing of the Education Centre.
Liaising with oversees students and professional bodies, company reps and trainers, to ensure the training is delivered with innovation, relevance and professionalism.
Assisting with the sourcing and development of ideas for new innovative courses.
Liaising with company reps to ensure relevant events are sponsored and supported.
Liaising with educational partners for example, awarding bodies to ensure quality processes are in place.
Help in maintaining the Education centres’ website.
Helping with the organisation of fundraising events, receiving donations and preparing them for banking.
Meeting donators who may be bereaved or affected by Breast cancer. Arranging cheque presentations events including photography and refreshments.
General administration including, preparation of notes for meetings, feedback after courses and any other duties as deemed appropriate for this role.
Use finance software system to raise requisitions and purchase order numbers in readiness for making payments to suppliers.
Receive donations for NBI and advising potential and actual fundraisers. Recording and delivery of all monies to charity office and working to the charities SOP’s in connection with this
Process all methods of course payments, including credit card, cheques, BACS and raise invoices as necessary
Supporting charitable donations e.g. writing to all individual/companies who have donated monies, meeting bereaved families and fundraisers to receive their donations, arrange and attend cheque presentations as required.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
