Goods Inwards Administrator - Full time/Permanent

Kff is a regional food wholesaler with c.270 colleagues based near Maidstone, Kent. We are part of Sysco, the world’s largest foodservice provider with over 65,000 colleagues globally. kff has a family feel with a close-knit team, supplying all sectors of the independent foodservice market.

We currently have an immediate vacancy for a Goods In Administrator to join our friendly Goods In Team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Placing orders with suppliers to maintain correct stock levels
  • Ensuring incoming stock is aligned with Purchase orders and entering stock on to the system.
  • Liaise with suppliers to ensure they meet the correct delivery date.
  • Arranging stock transfers between depots.
  • Highlighting short dated products with wider site departments.
  • Liaise with relevant internal departments.
  • Managing stock returned from customer.
  • Advising suppliers of any shortages/damages upon delivery.
  • Allocating Booking in slots to suppliers.
  • Produce daily reports i.e. (Daily out of stocks, N/A investigation, Shortages & Damages, Rebooks) etc.

To be considered for this role the ideal candidate must have:

  • Good verbal communication at all levels
  • Accurate and efficient IT skills.
  • Product and job knowledge (preferred but not essential).
  • Team working skills.
  • Ability to effectively work with other departments.
  • Previous clerical experience.
  • Previous Goods in/ Stock control experience.
  • Ability to multi task within a busy environment.
