Job Description

The support assistant will carry out a range of administrative tasks on cases in order to support the claims handling team both in general and on specific cases

Key Accountabilities

Key Accountabilities
Key elements of the role will include:
  • Opening, closing and archiving files

  • Drafting forms for write off

  • Completing ad hoc tasks such as chasing information

  • Completing urgent tasks including scanning, copying etc.

  • Collating information for lodging at court

  • Processing invoices

  • Monitoring email inboxes

  • Working Hours
    Full Time Hours
    Primary location for this role is Glasgow

    Experience, Skills and Qualifications

    Recruitment Criteria:
  • Minimum 3 Standard Grades 1-4 or equivalent including English and Maths

  • An ability to organise and prioritise tasks

  • An ability to use own initiative

  • An ability to work under pressure

  • A team player

  • An ability to maintain attention to detail when dealing with repetitive tasks

  • Good Literacy and IT skills

  • Ability to work to deadlines

  • Good understanding of Excel and other Microsoft Office packages

  • Excellent listening and verbal communication skills
