TPF Recruitment is supporting a long standing independent firm of chartered accountants based near Gravesend in their search for a general practice accounts & tax Client Manager. This is a varied position where you will have your own client allocation and be responsible for accounts, tax, bookkeeping and vat services to a wide ranging client base made up of sole traders, limited companies and LLPs.

This position is being recruited as a consequence of growth within the practice and this is an excellent time o be joining the business. You will have lots of autonomy and there are excellent internal progression prospects on offer.

As a Client Manager based near Gravesend, your responsibility will be to:

  • Manage a varied portfolio of clients across individuals, sole traders, partnerships, and Limited companies.
  • Prepare statutory accounts and management accounts and some more complex bookkeeping
  • Prepare corporation tax, personal tax and VAT returns
  • Support and help develop the work of more junior staffHelp develop and grow the firms client base, providing additional services to existing clients, and helping onboard new businesses.

Commutable from Dartford, Gravesend, Strood, Rochester, Chatham, Medway, Maidstone and surrounding areas!

Benefits
£35,000 - £45,000 dependent on experience and background, negotiable.

  • Qualified ACA/ACCA or part qualified or qualified by experience with at least 5 years general practice experience • Must be competent in all aspects of accounts and taxation work • Be fully conversant with accounting and tax standards and demonstrate skilled commercial acumen • Ability to prioritise, work on own initiative and meet deadlines • Have excellent IT skills; MS Office and preferably knowledge of TaxCalc, Sage and Xero • Be an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £35,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
