My client is a well established transport company based within the City of London who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to come and join their team on a temporary basis.
The key responsibilities for the role are:
- Processing of purchase and sales invoices in a timely manner
- Matching invoices to purchase orders (using the 3 way match, invoice, order, receipt)
- Post inter-company claims
- Post inter-company invoices
- Ensure bank reconciliations are completed daily
- Assisting with ad-hoc tasks
The successful Accounts Payable clerk will have:
- Ability to start immediately or within 1-week
- Strong attention to detail
- Previous experience in a similar role
- Good working knowledge of excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
