About Our Client

My client is a well established transport company based within the City of London who are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to come and join their team on a temporary basis.

Job Description

The key responsibilities for the role are:

  • Processing of purchase and sales invoices in a timely manner
  • Matching invoices to purchase orders (using the 3 way match, invoice, order, receipt)
  • Post inter-company claims
  • Post inter-company invoices
  • Ensure bank reconciliations are completed daily
  • Assisting with ad-hoc tasks

The Successful Applicant

The successful Accounts Payable clerk will have:

  • Ability to start immediately or within 1-week
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Previous experience in a similar role
  • Good working knowledge of excel
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
