Currently supporting a global telecommunications business to recruit an experienced Group Accountant for their London finance team. This role will support the group consolidation and be responsible for developing the processes for month end reporting.
Currently supporting a global telecommunications business to recruit an experienced Group Accountant for their London finance team. This role will support the group consolidation and be responsible for developing the processes for month end reporting.
Reporting to the Group Consolidations Manager, the role will involve:
- Preparing monthly group consolidations including month end close
- Completing monthly consolidation adjustments
- Preparing and reviewing supporting documents including SOX controls
- Supporting Group statutory audit process
- Preparing ad hoc consolidated statements
- Leading intercompany reconciliation process
- Identify and implement improvements to group reporting process
- Ad hoc tasks as required
The candidate:
- Qualified accountant
- Strong technical knowledge including experience of multi-currency consolidation and IFRS
- Ability to manage large data sets and manipulate data effectively
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines
- Experience of CPM tool
- Advanced IT skills
