Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced a 1st/2nd Line Engineer or IT System Administrator. You will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to clients on various IT systems and applications and must have a deep and broad knowledge of computer software, hardware, and networks. You will also install, configure and maintain said systems.

  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email and in person.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues with hardware and software systems.
  • Install and configure hardware and software systems.
  • Maintain and upgrade existing IT systems.
  • Provide training and support to end-users.
  • Ensure the security and integrity of IT systems.
  • Monitor and maintain system backups.
  • Document and maintain technical processes and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • Experience working in an IT support role.
  • Strong knowledge of hardware and software systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Experience with SharePoint, Azure, Microsoft D365 Business Central
  • Experience with Backup solutions
  • Strong Experience with Microsoft Server and Services
  • Strong Experience with Windows clients and maintaining.
  • Experience with server and network management.
  • Knowledge of database administration and management.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices.
  • Experience with IT project management is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Up to £40,000.00 per year
